As a bespoke garden product manufacturer, our long-term success depends on the health and the long term sustainability of the natural environment.
From our timber which is sustainable sourced from across the World to our reclaimed Welsh slate; they are all sourced from natural ecosystems.
Despite being a small business we still believe that it’s our duty to do our part to reduce our Carbon footprint.
Our plan is to transition from using fossil fuel electric generation providers to using 100% renewable energy.
We are currently in talks with Solar panel manufacturers in the UK to install solar panels onto all of our workshops.
We aim to source 100 per cent of our electricity from renewable sources by 2025.
As all of our products are made to order, none of our products are unnecessarily manufactured.
This allows the Robinson Garden team to carefully and effectively manage our use of materials and resources to ensure that we minimise waste.
Wood is the most imperative part of our products and therefore ensure all the wood we use is sustainable sourced. To ensure that, we only purchase Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified timber.
Our delivery carbon footprint is something that we have taken seriously over the past few years.
Our team carefully plan out delivery schedules for upcoming orders so that when we deliver to our clients, our carbon footprint is as minimal as possible.
Reclaimed Welsh Slate
We use locally sourced reclaimed Welsh slate on all of our slated products, which is known for its distinct colours and longevity.
By using reclaimed slate it allows us to reuse a natural material that has been used for roofing for centuries.
Farrow & Ball
All of our products are carefully hand painted using exterior eggshell Farrow & Ball paint. All Farrow & Ball paint are water based making them eco-friendly and low odour.
As well as this Farrow & Ball paint is Pet and Child safe, easy to clean, free from animal testing and doesn’t contain animal derived products.Read More
